I've been using Beet It Sport since 2021, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer. Especially during those intense training sessions, I've noticed a significant difference in my heart's performance. My heart rate doesn't skyrocket like it used to, and even if it does, I don't feel as fatigued.

1. How did you get involved in swimming?

My journey with swimming began at the age of 7, inspired by watching my older brother swim effortlessly through the water. Witnessing his speed and grace sparked my curiosity, prompting me to get into swimming. Interestingly, prior to swimming, I was deeply engrossed in taekwondo.

2. How did you realize you were good in swimming?

Funny enough, my realization came gradually. As a child, I was quite small, which initially led me to underestimate my abilities. Participating in competitions, particularly in South East Asia age group events, revealed a noticeable gap between my stature and that of my competitors. However, fuelled by determination, I just kept training hard. Through all that hard work, I am where I am today.

3. What keeps you motivated to constantly push your limits of performance?

Waking up at 4:30 a.m. every morning for training might seem tough, but I firmly believe in the power of hard work. I've always held onto the idea that diligence pays off. When you put in the effort, even if it's just as much as what everyone else is doing, there's always a chance, maybe even a 50-50 shot, that you'll see improvement. Sure, there's also the chance you'll stay where you are, but if you don't put in the work, that chance drops to zero. So, I guess my biggest motivation is knowing that if I don't try, I won't get anywhere.

4. What are your goals for 2024?

This year, my big aim is to make it to the Olympics and compete there. It's been my dream ever since I was young. Right now, I'm just 0.45 seconds away from securing the B cards. I recently did my best time and broke 2 national records at the Australian Open Championship at Gold Coast, so I'm hopeful I can break another one and snag those cards for the Olympics.

5. How long have you been using Beet It Sport and what benefits have you noticed?
I've been using Beet It Sport since 2021, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer. Especially during those intense training sessions, I've noticed a significant difference in my heart's performance. My heart rate doesn't skyrocket like it used to, and even if it does, I don't feel as fatigued. This means I can push harder and longer without feeling worn out. It's like my aerobic system got a major upgrade. So yeah, I highly recommend Beet It Sport.
