1.    How did you get involved in squash?
My family was very involved in squash, started from my dad (Raymond Arnold) who was my coach and my siblings, Delia and Timothy who played at a professional level. My parents brought me to the courts when I was really young around 5 years of age. From there, the love for the sport just grew.

2.    What motivates you to train and compete at the elite level?

I think I realised at 18 that I had potential to do well in this sport and I thought why not try going pro. From that point onwards I just want to try to be the best I can, and to prove to myself that I am capable of being at the top. And also just loving the game and the experiences I get from playing keeps me going.

3.    What has been your greatest sporting achievement?
The most recent one would probably be winning a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in the doubles event. It was a really special moment standing up there on the podium and being able to bring something back for the country.

4.    How are you feeling ahead of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou?
Slightly nervous! But nerves are good and will always be there. But training leading up to the games has been good so far so that will definitely help going into the event. The team has been working hard too and hopefully we can contribute a medal for Malaysia.

5.    Did you notice a benefit to using Beet It Sport?
Yeah definitely, I’ve been feeling better on court on the endurance part, lasting longer. And with back to back training sessions, I feel fresh the next day too. I would recommend Beet It Sport to anyone out there! Especially sports enthusiasts.
