Jayden Tian

OCR Racer, Runner & Fitness Instructor

We are delighted to announce Jayden Tian as our April 2023 ambassador. An embodiment of health and fitness, Jayden is a manager at Celebrity Fitness Wangsa Walk. Aside from his managerial role, Jayden conducts personal training and group fitness classes. He is very active in OCR events, trail, road and ultra runs which he often podiums, and weight trains frequently.

Beet It Sport helps in boosting my sport performance, especially in any kind of event that requires endurance i.e. ultra-marathons. I felt energized and I was able to exercise or compete for a longer period without feeling fatigue during my training or races. I was able to breathe comfortably even though my heart rate was high during the exercise.  I also find that Beet It Sport helps my muscles to recover more quickly and I experienced less inflammation in my body. It’s totally good for an active athlete/ personal trainer / group fitness instructor …well, a ‘sport freak’ like me, who tries to push beyond my limits constantly.

1. How did you get involved in sports?
It all started back in 2013. When I graduated from college, I took up membership at a commercial gym and there’s where my fitness journey began. Prior to that, I was just a casual runner. 

2. What’s your favorite sport?
My favorite sport is definitely any kind of obstacle race (OCR). It is not just a running event, but also requires strength, agility and I have to constantly train to be able to push my own limits. Recently, I’ve also started to take part in ultra-marathons, and it’s a sport that requires a lot of positive mindset and mental strength, aside from body endurance.

3. What is your biggest motivation to keep pushing the limits of your performance?
My biggest motivation is being able to “podium” each time I participate in a race (just kidding) … it’s being able to break my own PB each time. Sometimes, I also like to challenge myself to a back to back event (for example, I did 2 ultra-marathons (50k) in a one-week gap and I was able to complete that with a good timing). It feels great every time I’m able to push yourself, or try my best to break my own limits, because I believe nothing is impossible.

 

4. What’s your best achievement so far?
So far, achieving 1st for my Age group in the South East Asia Spartan Race in 2022 with a total of 4 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze.  I also came 2nd under my age group in the Spartan APAC Championship 2022.  This year, I also managed to “podium” on some road runs and ultra-marathons.  I definitely look forward to achieving more this year! 

5. How did you hear of Beet It Sport?
I came across a Beet It Sport booth during race kit collection at one of the races that I was participating in. After that, I started to follow Beet It Sport’s IG and to find out more information on it.

6. Why do you use Beet It Sport and how has it helped you?
