We’re absolutely delighted to have Haziq Hamzah on board as our February ambassador. This lanky young man hails from Kajang, Selangor and works in the IT sector. He has been running since school days and continues to improve so much so, that you will often see him on podiums.
I would use Beet It Sport mostly before any hard work out, but most importantly is loading a week before my big race. Nitrate loading would help me feel better on race day as it will help me utilize oxygen better.
1. Tell us briefly about yourself.
My name is Haziq Hamzah, from Kajang, Selangor. I work as an IT support.
2. How did you get involved in sports / running?
I represent my school in cross country when I was young, but I stopped running after I finished high school. I started running again 7 years after high school, with my first event Energizer Night Run. Ever since that I have been obsessed with running, roads and trails, running lots of half marathon, full marathons and ultra-marathons. The longest I have run is 100km, both on road and trail. In 2021 I started a runstreak challenge where I would run every single day without rest. I see a lot of improvement in my running with doing the streak. I am still running every day, when I wrote this I am on my 760 days of runstreak.
3. What is your biggest motivation to keep pushing your limits of performance?
I think it’s just because I love running so much, I don’t know what else I would be doing without it. I also believe I have the potential to be one of the best marathoner in Malaysia and I don’t want to waste that potential. That drives me to continue pushing my limit.
4. What’s your best achievement so far?
• 2:45:28 Full Marathon (KLSCM 2022)
• 1:17:35 Half Marathon (MPKJ HM 2022)
5. What do you hope achieve in the coming year?
I hope to break 2:40 in FM and 1:15 in HM this year.
I dream of representing Malaysia in full marathon one day.
6. How did you hear of Beet It Sport?
I randomly saw it on Instagram and I made my research and realize how beneficial and easy to use it.
7. Why do you use Beet It Sport and how has it helped you?

8. Anything additional you would like to add about Beet It Sport?
Probably the thing I love the most about Beet It is how easy to use it. I used to be buying and cutting beetroot from the supermarket, which is quite a hassle. Now I just simply pour and drink 😂
