I've been using Beet It Sport in my training for a long time. Beet It Sport is excellent for long distance running because it helps support oxygen in the blood and stamina during endurance efforts.
Q&A
1. What is your biggest sporting achievement so far?
I've been in sport for over 10 years — starting with track & field and marathons, and since 2024 I've focused on duathlon. Among the achievements that mean the most to me are first place at the Kangar City Duathlon and the Langkawi International Duathlon, second place at the Titan 77.7 Malaysia Long Distance Duathlon, and first place in the team relay at Langkawi Ironman 2025. Every podium has its own story, but what I value most is consistency — being able to perform race after race throughout the season.
2. What drives you to train and perform at your best?
I serve full-time with the Malaysian Armed Forces, so discipline is simply part of my life. But my real motivation comes from always chasing a bigger target — I want to carry Malaysia's name in duathlon and marathon on the international stage. Beyond that, I also coach and mentor new ATM (Angkatan Tentera Malaysia) athletes in long distance running and cycling. When you teach others, you have to lead by example. That's what gets me up to train every single day.
3. What is the main reason you recommend Beet It Sport?
I've been using Beet It Sport in my training for a long time. Back when I was with Coach Rono at MSN, he taught me a lot about the benefits of beetroot for runners. For me, Beet It Sport is excellent for long distance running because it helps support oxygen in the blood and stamina during endurance efforts.
4. Is there anything else you'd like to share about Beet It Sport?
For serious athletes, what you take before a race really matters. What I like about Beet It Sport is that its nitrate content is standardised — so every time you take it, you know exactly what you're getting. It's also Informed Sport certified, so for athletes competing at official level like me, that's an added layer of confidence. If you're preparing for a long distance race, try adding it to your race week routine — start loading a few days before your event, and feel the difference for yourself.
