Tell us briefly about yourself
I'm a passionate runner who enjoys running, loves running shoes and gears, and takes pride in helping and encouraging fellow runners. Love creating engaging content on social media. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, which shapes my data-driven and scientific approach to running. I believe in style with substance and channel my energy into both the local running scene and online platforms. Currently, I am a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Saucony Malaysia and Shokz Malaysia.

I started incorporating Beet It Sport during my first marathon training cycle, believing it would give me the extra boost I needed. While my first marathon wasn’t the best reflection, my experience at the Osaka Marathon was different. I felt less fatigued for longer, allowing me to control my pace kilometre by kilometre all the way to the finish line. It turned out to be my perfect race. Since then, I've used it in half marathon races and managed to achieve two consecutive personal bests!

1. How did you get involved in running?

I was looking for a way to stay active amidst a hectic lifestyle. Back then, I was a father of two, and finding time for futsal or football was difficult. Injuries would also sidelined me for months. I discovered that running was accessible, didn’t rely on others, and was easier on the body as it is a non-contact sport. I could just put on my shoes and run straight from my house whenever it suited me.

2. What is your biggest motivation to keep pushing your limits of performance?

I started running casually, then began signing up for races, which introduced me to many people, including athletes who eventually became friends. I admired their drive, determination, and discipline and it inspired me. Over time, I adopted a more structured training approach and became more disciplined, and it started to show in my results. There's real joy in seeing the hard work pay off with great performance.

3. What do you hope to achieve in the coming months?

I'm aiming to run the Boston Marathon as well as to complete all the World Major Marathons. To do that, I need to achieve a Boston qualifying time. I've chosen a race in November 2025 to attempt hitting that target.

4. How did you hear about Beet It Sport?

I first came across Beet It Sport through Instagram posts by a few top Malaysian athletes, which piqued my curiosity. Anything that could offer a performance edge definitely intrigues me!
