Yen Chia

Triathlete

Our September Ambassador is Chia Shio Yuan, who is widely recognized as Yen Chia, and we are absolutely thrilled to have her on board! A make-up artist & stylist by profession, Yen Chia is very well known in the sporting arena, be it running, cycling or swimming. Yen Chia's engagement with triathlon originated from her desire to test her limits and explore various sporting disciplines, a pursuit that eventually captured her wholeheartedly.

Upon consuming Beet It Sport (pre-workout), I've noticed a reduction in fatigue during my workouts and a noticeable enhancement in my endurance levels. After completing my extensive training sessions, I consume one Beet It Regen shot promptly post-exercise, and continue this routine daily for 2 to 3 days. 1. How did you get started in sports?
In 2016, I distinctly remember embarking on my initial running journey, fuelled by the desire to lose weight. I committed myself to waking up early each day to jog before work, and over time, this habit became an integral part of my daily routine. As time went on, I extended my interests to include participation in running events. Slowly, I also incorporated cycling and swimming into my regimen. This progression led me to develop a deep passion for Triathlon, a passion that continues to burn brightly in the present.

2. You run, you cycle, you swim and you’ve completed Ironman! Is there any other sports you would love to put your hands on?
I would love to but the reality is that committing to three sports already takes up a significant amount of time and sacrifice.

3. What is your biggest motivation to keep pushing the limits of your performance?
I love that feeling of experiencing gradual improvements in myself! Each instance of progress brings a lasting sense of satisfaction, which I believe is the driving force behind my unwavering motivation. Moreover, I've come to realize that a genuine passion for the sport ensures that I will never get bored!

4. What do you hope to achieve for the rest of the year?
I hope to achieve a personal best in the upcoming events and to channel more of my focus towards improving my cycling and swimming abilities.
